Springbank has been distilling since 1828. With a character all of its own, thanks to the use of lightly peated barley and a unique two-and-a-half-times distillation process, it is a complex, full bodied maritime dram.
It's non-chill filtered and natural colour. Bottled at cask strength 54.1%.
60% Bourbon and 40% Sherry
Nose: Toffee apple sweetness with notes of parma ham, hazelnut and marzipan.
Palate: Soft peat smoke with notes of morello cherries and aniseed, accompanied by a creamy custard cream flavour.
Finish: Brine, oil and salted caramel with the peat smoke.
