The Local Barley is an annual release made from barley grown in or around Campbeltown. Each year a local farmer is commissioned to grow barley on their behalf to continue producing this ‘grain to glass’ limited edition.
Different farms, barley varieties, cask maturations and length of time the whisky spends in the casks from one batch to the next allow each release a unique tasting experience every time.

Distilled: July 1015 and bottled: October 2025. Limited to 8000 bottles.
This Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been distilled from barley grown on the Kintyre Peninsula within a few miles of the Springbank Distillery. The barley is then malted on their own malt floors using traditional production techniques before being turned into their Spirit, then matured into their whisky and bottled on site making this a 100% Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
