This Strathisla 12 year old is from the 2010's era when 40% abv was introduced..

Strathisla distillery was founded in 1786 and is one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in Scotland. Most of the Strathisla spirit goes into the making of Chivas Regal Blended Whiskies.

The Strathisla 12 year old is classically seen as smooth, approachable and gentle with a balanced fruity sweet profile.

The original bottlings were produced at 43% and then in the 2010's this was reduced to 40%.

In 2013 this Single Malt won the World Whiskies Award and IWSC accolades.
