Strathmill Distillery supplies many a fine blend, and is built on the site of a former corn mill. Many of the distillery buildings pre-date whisky production, which started in 1891.
Complex vanilla on the nose with sweet oaky spice and marzipan notes to the fore and hints of boiled sweets. On the palate oak comes to the fore, some toffee with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and barley sugar. A long finish with evolving sweet spice.
From Mossburn Distillers and Blenders Established in 1992. The Mossburn Master Blender has specially selected barrels from their aging warehouse then released as a Limited Edition. Each bottle exhibits the classic hallmarks of balance depth and complexity that only the best Single Malts can deliver.
