The Citrologist Scottish Dry Gin 42% 70cl

A premium quality London Dry gin with a Scottish twist flavoured with the addition of Rowan, Hawthorn and Sea Buckthorn berries.

It has all the hallmarks of a juniper forward gin but with a slightly sweeter after taste. A beautifully smooth gin which has a long finish. 

The Citrologist Gins are distilled and bottled in the Scottish Borders by The Wildings Distillery Limited in Galashiels. 

These Gins are characterised by a fresh citrus aroma and flavour because they are distilled using fresh citrus and no other ingredients after distillation. 

The fruits are hand prepared on the day of distillation. The citrus oils are only heated for a short period to retain the fresh flavour and aroma.

The founders are Paul Cormie and Malcolm MacLeod who met in 1979. A chance 60th birthday present from Malcolm to Paul in 2021 of a gin making experience sparked an interest in Paul that has since become a passion and has seen the friends extend their relationship to become business partners.

The ribbed bottles give their gins a modern classic look and the beautiful drawings on the bottles were specially commissioned from their good friend and professional artist Kate Philp in Northumberland.
