The Glendronach 14 year old Marsala Cask Finish bottled 2016 Billy Walker Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% 70cl 

Bottled in 2016 and this is printed on the bottle with the Billy Walker signature on the tube. 

The GlenDronach Distillery was mothballed / closed between 1996 to 2002.

This bottle would have been distilled around the time the distillery re-opened in 2002. 

This unique expression was initially matured in European Oak Casks and thereafter finished its maturation in a very small batch of Marsala casks, which have given the final whisky its own range of unique flavours and aromas. 

This exceptional Marsala Cask Finish Single Malt is both non-chill filtered and natural in colour and bottled at 46% 

Nose: Fairground candy apples, hints of stem ginger and warm white pepper combine with delicate, sweet barley notes. 

Palate: Vibrant fresh green apple develops to vanilla fudge and pear drops. Beautiful rich oak balances the sweet and the spice characters in the palate. 

Finish: Deliciously balanced, bringing ripe orchard fruits and delicate, sweet oak spices to the traditional robust highland character. A truely unique and luscious GlenDronach expression.
