This Macallan Folio 8 'The Colossus of Nose' Single Malt is the New Limited Edition and a special collectors bottle released from The Macallan Distillery.

The Macallan Folio 8 is part of the highly coveted 'Archival Series' by The Macallan Distillery, which celebrates their rich history and the brands past advertising campaigns. 

The Folio 8 is the latest release from The Macallan Distillery. The bottle is accompanied by a special booklet commemorating the brand’s vintage advertising plus digital content all presented in a beautiful book-shaped box. 

The Folio 8 in 'The Macallan Archival Series' commemorates the legendary advert of the 1980s 'The Colossus of Nose' that playfully alludes to the magnificent aroma emitted by the King of Malts, otherwise known as The Macallan.

Like all the Macallan Archival Series releases the NEW Folio 8 is an exceptional non age statement Single Malt, which carries the brand signature profile. 

Tasting Notes: Ripe dried fruits, sweet berry compote with toffee, lemon peel, cinnamon and just a hint of anise give way to ginger, a burst of citrus and sweet oak to taste. The luxurious finish is long and rich with sweet oak spices.

Colour: Vintage Terracotta

Nose: Golden Sultanas and Ripe Dates, Sweet Berry Compote, Toffee Brittle, Lemon Peel, Cinnamon and hints of Anise

Palate: Sweet Raisin and Sultanas, Ginger, Lemon and Orange Zest, Toffee and Sweet Oak

Finish: Long, Rich with Sweet Oak Spices
