Tomintoul Glenlivet (1980's) Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky 40% 75cl

A vintage Tomintoul whisky boxed and shown as Tomintoul Glenlivet. 

The Tomintoul Distillery was founded in 1964 and we think they started bottling their own Single Malt's from 1974. 

It is estimated this Single Malt was bottled in the very late 1970's to mid-1980's. 

The 75cl bottle was standard until 1979 when The European Economic Community introduced the new standard size to 70cl. By late 1980's the 75cl bottle had been replaced with the new standard 70cl bottle. 

Produced when the telephone number to the distillery was: Glenlivet 274 if you remember when telephone numbers were an area and three numbers. This is on the box. 

The box looks its age but is still intact but the bottle is in excellent condition with the original seal.
