Tomintoul Tlath Single Malt Scotch Whisky is The Gentle Dram from the Tomintoul Distillery providing excellent value for money.

Tlàth, pronounced “T-lah” meaning gentle & mellow in Gaelic, is the result of a very careful selection of individual casks. The collection consists of whiskies of various ages matured in the highest quality American Oak ex-bourbon barrels.

The area surrounding Tomintoul Distillery is one of astounding natural beauty. This natural environment combined with the fresh mountain air of the Cairngorms, the soft, pure water from the Ballantruan spring and the tall and mighty stills of Tomintoul, all contribute to creating our exceptionally smooth and well-balanced whisky.

Colour: Golden Straw.

Nose: Typically Speyside. Light with some sweet toffee and vanilla with hints of mint leaf and citrus peel. 

Palate: Light and creamy. Lively white pepper and some oak driven spiciness with background layers of nutmeg and toasted vanilla.

Finish: Spicy with notes of shortbread and fresh mint.
