The Tormore 16 year old benefits from double maturation with a deliberately gentle wood influence to allow the spirit’s character to shine. Matured in a variety of sherry casks for layers of flavour and structure, then non-chill filtered for a slightly richer and more luscious, creamy mouthfeel. The result, a beautifully balanced sherry style that doesn’t mask the pure, fruity spirit of Tormore.
The Distillery Manager Polly Logan, describes Tormore 16 as " the fruits of Tormore coming together with the beautiful spiced buttered brioche and a really nice mix of demerara fudge."
Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour.
Tasting Notes: Spiced buttered brioche leads to sticky dates, demerara fudge and lemon oil. Blueberry jam and vanilla fudge create layers of luscious depth.
