A very special Aberlour finished in a rich pedro ximenez cask to deliver a great flavour. 

This sweet barley rich spirit was initially matured in old European sherry butts. Then transfered into pedro ximenez sherry barriques from their cask partners Bodegas Ximenez - Spinola to deliver a superb silky sweetness. 

Distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 and limited to only 901 bottles.

Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour bottled at 57.2%

Nose: Ripe fruits, orange zest, creamy malt.

Palate: Set honey, soft toffee, hints of berries. 

Finish: Hint of mocha, fruity, mellow oak. 

Since 1994 Murray McDavid have been poineers in the Art of Maturation by aging whisky in casks previously used for fine wines and spirits.

Benchmark is the centre range from Murray McDavid offering small craft batches of distinctive matured single malt whiskies.
