From the Torabhaig Distillery, a lightly Peated Single Cask Single Malt exclusively sold by us at The Whisky Castle. 

This new distillery was founded in 2017 and this Single Cask was distilled a year later in 2018 from a First Fill Bourbon Cask.

Peat in grain: 78+ PPM

Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour. Each bottle is individually numbered and limited to only 176 bottles. 

A strong powerful single cask with balanced peat smoke 

Founded in 2017 Torabhaig is the second licenced Scotch Whisky distillery on the Isle of Skye.

Built in a restored 19th century farm steading near the sea gives the distillery an authentic Highland feel. 

Nose: Sweet syrup, crisp apple and gentle vanilla, underpinned by briny woodland earth. 

Palate: Peat smoke mingles with a touch os sea saltand creamy vanilla custard with cracked pepper adding a subtle kick. 

Finish: Long and warming, leaving a lingering chill heat and peppery smoke.
