Murray Mc David 'Select Grain' showcases Single Grain whiskies matured to bring out the character of this lighter and sweeter spirit. 

Dont judge a whisky by its age, although this is the youngest Grain whisky Murray McDonald have bottled it delivers a great flavour. Distilled at Loch Lomond and then matured in Koval Bourbon casks for the final 4 years to deliver the buttered popcorn, caramel and spice flavour. 

Loch Lomond is home to one of the most versatile whisky distilleries in Scotland. Making nine different styles of spirit, they are the only producer to craft single grain whisky solely from malted barley. Here they deliver the column still single grain spirit in a way never seen before. 

Distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2026 and limited to only 730 bottles.

Non Chill Filtered and Natural Colour bottled at 58.4%

Nose: Banana milkshake, toasted oak 

Palate: Buttered popcorn, caramel, spice. 

Finish: Lingering vanilla, hint of cinnamon. 

Since 1994 Murray McDavid have been poineers in the Art of Maturation by aging whisky in casks previously used for fine wines and spirits.
